Well, as Dendarii Dame I would be a female Vorkosigan (not too great a situation, in most cases, but sometimes okay), a member of a space mercenary fleet (actually, a somewhat better choice), or Lois McMaster Bujold herself. As an author, I would love to write as well as she does, so that’s my pick. ---
