My son and I were just talking about this. I thought about reaching 50, doing that for a week, and then permanently trying to do about 40 per day for tone.

Hello, everyone, here is another wonderful Mahaloth update.

I did 40 push-ups today! The last 6-7 were bloody murder, but I was adamant to hit the 40 mark by now and I did. I will now be on 40 for at least a week ore more, maybe 41-42 if I’m lucky.

Congratulations! Keep it up!

Today is my 46th birthday.

I shot for 46 pushups, but DID 50!!!

The last 5-7 won’t win any prizes for form, but I kept going through bloody murder pain.

To reach 50, it took 51 days. I’ll try to do 50 each day for a week and maybe settle back to 40 or so for consistent tone.

I started doing four sets of pushups three days a week 16 years ago when I turned 40. My waistline was expanding and my weight was fast approaching 200 lbs. I knew I had a choice of either continue letting myself go or doing something about it. My plan was always to push myself to do more each workout than the last. I’m now up to about 1000 pushups each workout day, I hit about 300 on the first set.

I humbly bow to your strength and achievement. That is downright amazing. How ripped are you?

I still weigh around 200 lbs but have a 32-inch waist instead of 36.

Good for you. I did 50 again today and the mind boggles at 300.

Next workout I’m gonna try to really push past my current limit. If I don’t post for a couple of days it’s because I won’t be able to lift my arms.

My workout yesterday I made it to 350 on my first set. We’ll see what happens with Friday’s workout.
