I don’t think you need either of those assumptions. The reason his remarks are racially offensive is because he considers the racial aspect a significant part of the problem. Meaning, that part of the problem is that it’s black drug dealers impregnating white girls, while black drug dealers impregnating black girls or white drug dealers impregnating white girls are not such a big deal. Makes no difference how often any of these scenarios actually happen, either in reality of in his opinion. I generally tend to think most of these racist brouhahas are very overblown, but this guy seems guilty as charged. ---

SCOTUS has essentially barred the death penalty for any crime does does not result in the death of the victim. So a drug offense standing alone is not enough to justify the death penalty. Selling drugs laces with strychnine or something, perhaps. ---
