# Mainstream movies and anuses

Has any mainstream movie shown a person’s anus? This subject came up in a debate about _Borat_. Did that movie show that guy’s anus? If so, was it the first mainstream movie to show anus?
(Only human anus counts.)

I don’t believe I have ever seen an anus in a non-porn movie. I’ll keep on the lookout for you.

I think that, technically, your question is tautologically impossible: once a movie shows someone’s anus, it is by definition not a mainstream movie.

Not to be confused with the porn remake, “Honey, I Enlarged Your Anus”, which doesn’t count, as it’s not mainstream.
IIRC, wasn’t there was also a 3 minute uncut closeup of a human anus in “Driving Miss Daisy”?

This one’s not exactly a closeup, and I think you have to turn up the brightness. I believe you can see _something_ of Sherilyn Fenn’s anus for just a split second as she is spun around in the film **Two Moon Junction**.

I think the French movie _Baise moi_ has a shot of a gun shoved up against an anus before it is fired. It’s not a comedy.

More to the point, is the OP correct that **Borat** showed an anus? I’d be able to tell you, except that I kept my eyes away from the screen for a lot of that scene.

A do believe you get a brief flash from Ewan McGregor as he’s thrown or tumbling, I forgot what exactly. But you’d probably need the DVD, the pause button and possibly a zoom button to see anything. But from sitting in front of a big screen something lept out at me at that moment.

There was far too much of an anus in Pink Flamingos which, while not technically porn, is definitely not mainstream.

It occurs to me that there’s a mass-mooning scene in _Braveheart_. There would have been an unobstructed line of sight to multiple ani in that scene, though the shot was from a great enough distance that each one would probably have been smaller than a pixel.
