# Make a DVD Chain

Here’s the rules:
1. Take any movie from your DVD collection.
2. Name another movie from your collection, that features the same actor.
3. Name another movie you own that has another actor from the second movie.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 until you can’t.
5. For trilogies and other sequels (Star Wars, LOTR, Lethal Weapon) you can only use a second movie for three consecutive actors if the first and last actors are not in the same movie. For example, you can go from Gary Busey to Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon I, and then from Gibson to Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon II, but you can’t go from Busey to Gibson to Danny Glover.
Example:
I have _Monty Python and the Holy Grail_ featuring Michael Palin.
I also have _Time Bandits_ with Michael Palin and Sean Connery.
Connery --\> Harrison Ford --\> _Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade_.
Ford --\> Anthony Daniels --\> _Return of the Jedi_.
Daniels --\> Christopher Lee --\> _Revenge of the Sith_.
Lee --\> Orlando Bloom --\> _Fellowship of the Ring_.
Bloom --\> _Pirates of the Caribbean_.
I have no DVDs with any other actors from Pirates, so my chain is done.

(Note to **sciurophobic** : Get “Coupling” Seasons 1-3. While it was a TV show, it adds to your chain and great stuff too.)

I have “Oklahoma” and “Carousel” which both feature Gordon MacRae and Shirley Jones.
Victor Spinnetti was in “A Hard Day’s Night”, “Help!” and “Magical Mystery Tour.”
After that, I got nothin’.
