One of them gave me a long, convoluted explanation of how it was an ‘act of charity’, and thus not a sin at all, so she didn’t even have to mention it in Confession. And it didn’t count as adultry either, because he would be dead before she was married, which made it OK. In fact, she said that she would still be ‘morally’ a virgin when she married her boyfriend (who, in contrast, was never going to be allowed to get much beyond ‘second base’ until their wedding night, she said). ---

There is a movie called “The Theory of Flight” which is based around a woman who is dying of Lou Gherig’s disease, and her last wish is to basically lose her virginity. It’s a fairly decent movie that few people seem to have heard of, and it explores the subject that the OP seems to be interested in (though the make a wish foundation isn’t involved). I believe it is based on a true story, but I’m not certain. ---

Why does it have to be a prostitute, THEY’RE CHILDREN 😳, it’s doesn’t cost money for a kid to have sex with a girl his age ---
