I got a set of [Williams Sonoma Star Wars cookie cutters](http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/star-wars-cookie-cutter/?cm_src=rel) this week and finally got a bit of time this afternoon to bake with the young Woodhouses.
They manage to have the perfect kitschy cool factor, which we love. The five year old was doing her best Yoda speak the whole time and I did have to tell her that she could pretend battle with the cookies but not with the cookie cutters. š (although she sang the Star Wars theme while making Yoda and Darth Vader fight. )
Really the best part about the cutters is all the Star Wars in jokes and silliness that goes on while you cut them out.
I would definitely recommend them to someone else. Awesome cookie cutters. Spendy, but sturdy.

I bought the silver sugar crystals that go with them, just because Iāve never seen that shade of silver before in sugars, and they will be perfect for Christmas cookies.

And lightsabers DO have a penchant for cutting off peopleās arms.
Just sayinā.
Look, I know you let your kids do it at your house. But Iām not allowing my kids to help with cookies if theyāre going to play with lightsabers in the kitchen. And Iām tired of having to play Bad Imperial Enforcement Officer when I have to point that out to other parents.
