I thought this was going to be about how the OP’s pants split. That happened to me once. It was a pair of black Calvin Klein jeans which I really liked, but have not dared to buy again since that happened. They didn’t split up the seam, but in the area between one of the back pockets and the center seam. What’s worse, it was at the office and I discovered it only at the end of the workday. I have no idea how long they were like that, though fortunately I was wearing a long sportjacket that day. I don’t get it. I’m not fat, and the pants weren’t terribly tight. If you can’t trust a pair of jeans not to split, then what can you trust? ---
