# Make me a New Name

All right. I’ve been here for a couple of years now, and while I still love the name ‘Diomedes’, I still feel put off in entering half of the threadsI want to, just because another Doper has the same shortening of name that I do. I mean, ‘Dio’ isa lot easier to type than Diomedes, I understand, but it seems that that abbreviation has been taken over. There have been a few cases where someone has referred to me as someone else, and vice versa. For whatever reason, it just ain’t workin’ for me.
So I offer to you dopers a chance to pick a new name for me. I don’t pretend to offer any more here than I have in my other threads, I imagine someone will come up with something awesome beyond awesome that’s unique enough so that I won’t have to deal with confusing shortenings.
In the spirit of Doperdom, I’ll offer a bottle of scotch or a fresh-killed squid to whoever designates me best.

You could stay close to your actual name by using an anagram:
DIME DOSE (shortened to DIME)
