# Make up a holiday!

So I read this thing on Pinterest, about a woman who’s 7 yr old made up a holiday called Wolfenoot, ‘spirit of the wolf’, hides small gifts around house. People who have/have had, or are kind to dogs get better gifts. Then eat roast meat, plus cake decorated like full moon. And it got so popular people wanted to celebrate it! HaHa!
So I have an idea, and I can’t wait to hear yours!
I want Family Selfie Day! Celebrated twice a year, no dressing up, includes your pet, inside your home. I love this and wish everyone would adopt it. I think it’s what all your Moms, Aunties and Grans REALLY want! (It could also create a cool photo album along the way.) No cooking or invites, special attire or meals. It only takes a moment, snap! You’re done. What’s not to like?
I read about another idea someone had which was just throw a party and make the dress code ‘the thing you never get to wear’ that’s in your closet right now. Maybe it’s a beekeeper suit, maybe it’s your wedding gown? It could be fun, I think!

Family Selfie day would have me running to hide 😬
I’d love to see a Solo Day, where everyone keeps to themselves … Oh wait, we had a couple of years of that, didn’t we? Hm.
How about a Political Blackout Day? No political news anywhere, at all, and we celebrate the peace with angel food cake (all air) and maybe cotton candy (air-whipped fluff).

Not Today Day - the day on which you don’t do something that you do every other day. I suppose the most appropriate date would be February 30, or 31 if it is a leap year.
