Not a lot. I mean, it depends how much comes out of the pump, but a pump or two is probably fine. A little really does go a long, long way. Think of it like when you rub in a moisturizer- I’d say you probably want to use the same amount and you’d apply it the same way (upward circles).
Also, definitely let the primer sit for a few minutes before you do your makeup. I’d say throw your primer on, then do your hair, then do your makeup. That way it has time to rest and will last much much longer!
I don’t even know what I’d all the thread. “ASK THE GIRL WHO WEARS TOO MUCH MAKEUP” or “ASK THE GIRL WHO WASTES A GOD AWFUL AMOUNT OF MONEY AT THE MAC COUNTER!”
Do it! Half the time I post in this thread, I’m hoping you’ll reply and know the answer.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing. Primer, then hair, ironing if necessary, then make up. I figure that gives it enough time to dry. Then I also think I don’t spend nearly enough time on my hair, and I seldom iron, so is it really enough of a wait? Hair time for me, if I’m not trying to look fancy, is about 5 min. But how much time can something so thin take to dry? I figure 5 is plenty… I hope?
Five is definitely fine. Hell, I use eye primer and I’m the worst- I sometimes just wait like, a minute then put the shadow on. This is bad though, you should wait a few more minutes if you can.
I used to be a Bare Escentuals girl. (I hate their brushes - they shed like crazy.) I recently switched to Mary Kay’s mineral powder foundation and I like it much better. Plus the tins are about twice the size of BE’s and cost much less. $18 for Mary Kay, and it lasts a long time since you don’t have to use much. MK’s foundation brush is made of awesome and is only $10.
I like BeneFit’s Erase Paste concealer. One pot will last about a hundred years.
