# Making a list

A problem with making a list. (And checking it twice)

(a) yadda yadda  
(b) blah blah  
© talk talk  
(d) jibber jabber

see the problem? When you put a c in brackets, the board substitutes a copyright symbol. Can this be turned off?

Try using the “numbered list” button from text formatting ribbon.

1. First item
2. next item
3. last item

Of course, that won’t help if you absolutely, positively have to have lower case letters for your list items.

On the subject of lists, it looks like lists from the old site didn’t migrate properly. For example, the OP of the current mini-rants thread, or the January rules sticky in GD.
