**1) People shouldn’t automatically have the right to reproduce**  
People should have the right to squeeze out as many kiddies as they want, as long as they can provide well for them.  
**2) Abolish private ownership of income-generating property**  
No.  
**3) Most prisons should be closed; give the inmates jobs and counseling**  
Yes.  
**4) Armies should be replaced by lightly armed border guards**  
No, rather, the army should be shrunk to a small, but highly-effective and well-trained force to be used for defense of the country and its allies.  
**5) Fortunes over a million dollars should be confiscated**  
No.  
**7) National forests should be offlimits to logging**  
Yes.  
**8) Move to a hydrogen economy**  
If we can prove it’d work, sure. I hate the smell of gasoline, anyways.  
**9) People should be allowed to bill companies for time spent on hold**  
Yes.  
**10) Kids of convicts should receive mentoring, tutoring, scholarships, etc**  
Well, they shouldn’t get a free ride, but they should get help.  
**11) Low income seniors should get free drugs**  
Yes.  
**12) The world’s institutions are patriarchal (based on male authority)**  
Almost every one of them. Deplorable, isn’t it?  
**13) There is no such thing as "mental illness"**  
There is a such thing as mental illness.  
**14) There’s no need for a hierarchy of people having authority over others**  
Hierarchies are fine, as long as they work. Get an idiot on top, and it all comes tumbling down, no matter how devoted the underlings.  
**15) We are weakening our species by allowing defective specimens to survive**  
Any disadvantages we cause by allowing genetic defects to spread are nullified in our allowing otherwise lost talent to thrive.  
**16) Spend $ on expansion (into space, oceans) not internal problems**  
A balance is best. We should get off our butts and expand, but not at the expense of solving our internal troubles.  
**17) Reach out toward the stars before the earth is rendered unlivable**  
Yes.  
**18) Guns should be encouraged, and shooting skills should be taught in schools**  
No.  
**19) Property tax should be abolished**  
No.  
**20) Intellectual property laws hurt humanity as a whole**  
Only if abused.  
**21) I enjoy riding on public transportation**  
I like the concept, but the reality is smelly and rude.

To not want to work is fine; to not work is not.

Yep.  
**24) Homosexual behavior is a sin**  
No. Emphatically, no.  
**25) Heaven and Hell exist**  
No.  
**26) Underage drinking is wrong**  
In moderation, nothing is wrong.  
**27) Prisons are too luxurious - make them do more hard labor**  
Nay, I say–improve the conditions in prisons.  
**28) Affirmative Action is racist**  
Only if abused.  
**29) There is no place for guns in a civilized society**  
No place for guns in any society.  
**30) Communism has some promise with a few tweaks here and there**  
It’s all right on a small scale, but it collapses if scaled up.  
**31) Socialism has some promise with a few tweaks here and there**  
Socialism, however, is great. I like it.  
**32) Ararchism has some promise with a few tweaks here and there**  
No.  
**33) Libertarianism has some promise with a few tweaks here and there**  
I almost like libertarianism more than socialism.

Yes, but there should be a lot of power at the local level. Just enough government to oversee enormous projects and keep the children playing nicely.  
**35) The government shouldn’t mess with the market**  
Laissez-faire all the way, baby.  
**36) Industrial development, oil rigs, highways, etc aren’t ugly**  
But they are.  
**37) We should exploit energy reserves in the ANWR**  
We should stop our waste of petroleum, and if the ANWR will give us a few more decades to get our act together, sure. And it’d also help to get our fingers out of the Middle East’s pockets. So, sure, why not.  
**38) No cause justifies violence**  
The only cause that justifies violence is self-defense in immediate danger when escape or negotiation is impossible.  
**39) No cause justifies vandalism**  
No cause justifies vandalism.  
**40) We should all leave each other completely alone as much as possible**  
Tricky. While I don’t think we should be poking into each others’ business, it would be better if we helped each other more, even if it meant invading privacy. Sometimes, we can’t help ourselves and we can’t ask for help for whatever reasons we hold.  
**41) Limiting our individual freedoms will not stop terrorism**  
Absolutely.  
**42) Laisse-faire capitalism is the most efficient possible economic system**  
Laissez-faire all the way, baby.  
**43) Society shouldn’t starve people into productivity**  
Absolutely.

The ones I haven’t answered, I don’t have an opinion on.

That is a step in the right direction.

**4) Armies should be replaced by lightly armed border guards** disagree

**5) Fortunes over a million dollars should be confiscated**

disagree

**National forests should be offlimits to logging** Completely agree

**8) Move to a hydrogen economy**  
Agree in theory.

**10) Kids of convicts should receive mentoring, tutoring, scholarships, etc**  
they do alreadyto a degree/agree

**11) Low income seniors should get free drugs** agree, shoudln’t be limited to seniors though

**12) The world’s institutions are patriarchal (based on male authority)** It is already patriarchical for the most part. It would be nice if it was more inclusive but it isn’t really completely necessary since women tend to vote very similar to their male counterparts.

**13) There is no such thing as “mental illness”** disagree

**14) There’s no need for a hierarchy of people having authority over others** i would like it if there wasn’t a need but there is clearly one… agree.

**15) We are weakening our species by allowing defective specimens to survive** Agree.

**16) Spend $ on expansion (into space, oceans) not internal problems** Disagree, fix internal problems first.

**18) Guns should be encouraged, and shooting skills should be taught in schools** disagree

**19) Property tax should be abolished** agree sort of, make it a one time tax rather than a yearly thing

**20) Intellectual property laws hurt humanity as a whole** disagree

**21) I enjoy riding on public transportation** I agree and disagree. I love the subway but hate buses.

**23) God exists** Not in the way most major religions believe god(s) exist. Disagreeing because I can’t view god or gods as a specific being.

**24) Homosexual behavior is a sin** Disagree. Dogma makes sin and Dogma changes between various belief systems.

**25) Heaven and Hell exist** Disagree. There is an afterlife but not a heaven or hell.

**26) Underage drinking is wrong** Disagree. Drinking to excess is stupid but there is no ethical judgement from simply partaking.

**27) Prisons are too luxurious - make them do more hard labor** Disagree. Prisons don’t have a focus of rehabilitation… just punishment.

**28) Affirmative Action is racist** Agree but it is a step in the right direction for integration.

**31) Socialism has some promise with a few tweaks here and there** Agree. The Scandinavian countries seem to have gotten it right… the USSR had it wrong.

**38) No cause justifies violence** Disagree. Some causes justify violence…no where near as many that currently have violent outcomes though.

**41) Limiting our individual freedoms will not stop terrorism** completely agree

**42) Laisse-faire capitalism is the most efficient possible economic system** Disagree
