I would consider reusing grounds if civilization collapsed and the available supplies of coffee were severely depleted. Sure, it would taste horrible, but bad coffee would be the least of my problems. ---

I used to. Started doing it in the military, then kept doing it. It makes an OK pot, if you’re not a connoisseur. I stopped when I was at work long ago, and started to run a new carafe of water through for Round Two. A coworker asked what was doing so I told her. She said “Yeah. We don’t do that here.” Haven’t done it since. ETA, can’t grasp all the “gross” comments. I mean yeah, I get it might not be the most tastiestest pot of coffee, but what’s gross about it? ---
