When I was at language (not band!) camp many years ago, we had some strange concoction that they called “Russian tea,” made with Tang and Lipton Instant. Has anyone else ever heard of this? :dubious:
We’ve had a couple of theseover the years - the dedicated tea version. We drink a lot of loose green teas, which quickly become horrible unless you’re constantly refreshing the pot.
Otherwise I have a huge normal pot and use teabags in it. I’ve perfected the blend (!) of brewing time, cooling time and pouring time which allows me to get 3-4 cups in the morning at the appropriate strength and heat. I have 2-3 cups with breakfast, then take the last one with me on the school run, in an insulated mug. I’m a MIL person - for the faintly disgusting reason that if I’m the only one drinking from the pot and the first cup I pour is too weak, I can pour it right back into the pot and wait a couple more minutes for it to brew :D.
It also has Red Hots in it. It is as vile as you imagine.
