There actually was “The Sting II” which starred, unbelievably, Jackie Gleason and Mac Davis. If you were around in 1983, you could see the movie **stink** like a stone. ---

Didn’t we just use this word in posts 1691/1692? No matter, it reminds me of the commercial for improving English where the German Coast Guard guy gets an emergency distress radio call in English where someone says “We’re sinking!” and the guy responds “What are you **sinking** about?” Probably the most amusing malaprop used in a commercial ever. ---
