Sweet fancy Moses. There’s still an episode of that show I haven’t seen? I thought I’d killed the last of that species when I finally saw the original astronaut pen episode.

Couldn’t tell you the name of the game, but the episode name was “Surgery.” It’s from the second season - the one where Malcolm fakes being sick, gets sent to the hospital and the doctors mix him up for another kid and he almost gets a needless apendectomy. The family is playing some board game while he is in the hospital.
I’ll go with **DocCathode** and say that I thought it was Risk, too.

Risk? man, I thought this would be hard. Who hasn’t heard of risk? 😉
Big map of the world? 5 Dice, and lots of little armies? (plastic men, plastic roman numerals, wooden chits, or metal men, canons and horses, depending on the edition.) If so, that’s Risk. Fairly popular, despite being largely luck-based.
