A massage A NICE article of clothing to round out my wardrobe (dress shirt, slacks, heck even a nice sports-team T-shirt) Tickets to a favorite sports team event, concert, etc. a video game (Guitar Hero!) some sort of power tool that would make my life easier (every man with a yard needs a leaf-blower) Car waxing/detailing (if he’s fond of his ride) Aside from the gift, I personally always enjoy some sort of planned event that I’m too lazy to organize- a nice dinner, picnic, etc…without the kids, if applicable 🙂 ---

The Black Sabbath 9-disc box set (actually goes for around $70 but you might find it used for less). _Final Fantasy XII_ or _Guitar Hero II_ for Playstation 2. Component cable for connecting said PlayStation 2 to an HDTV. Power tools! ---

Around 50 dollars? It’s almost summer: flip-flops shorts sunglasses BBQ-utensils practical year-round 1 pair of (really good) socks. Does he use/need any tools? (boys&toys) bottle of scotch (liquor of choice) Does he play any sport? Most sports need ‘disposables’ ; tennisbals, ‘tee’s’, socks, grips, etc. Book? Tickets for a show/sportsevent. Computerrelated: Mouse BluetoothDongle Some other toy you’d wanna replace but don’t NEED to. ---

$50 US? That’s, like, $65 Canadian. 🙂 So what would I get? The first thought is a book. There is a long list of books that I am acquiring, mostly to do with ecological design and architecture and math and engineering and construction and such. Sadly, many of them are well over a hundred dollars. There are a lot of other subjects I am interested in–the history of the Middle East, for instance. Or cartooning. My collection of Moebius books is sadly incomplete, and those are about thirty or forty bucks each. I already have sufficient socks, underwear, T-shirts, a good bathing suit, etc, though I could use a new pair of pants. I’d like a good artistic umbrella, even though I’d probably leave it somewhere. Computery stuff: all money is going into savings for a new MacBook Pro. So that’s where it would probably go. Sorry. ---
