# male/female symbol in Microsoft?

Anyone know how to type these symbols in the standard system fonts?

I don’t think most typefaces have them. Use the charmap program (run the Find in the Start menu and type ‘charmap’) to check specific typefaces. IIRC, they were part of the original ASCII, if little-used.
