Alright, for all you Northern Va, near Fairfax, meat-eating dopers; I have found a haven of pure gluttoness delite.

For lunch, my office was taken out to the fabulous restuarant Malibu Grill. This restaurant serves a ton of meat. There is a puny salad bar (which I might add has meat). The main deal with this place is you sit at the table and wait for these men. These men have all sorts of different types of meat on skewer sticks. There’s New York steak, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, Ribs, Round Eye steak, Beef, Sausages, and many more different types of succulent animals.

To begin gorging, you flip a red and green stick. If it’s on green, prepare to eat. If it’s on red, that mean’s you can no longer eat-you are done.

I can’t seem to put it into words right now…

Bliss for the meat eater…😃

Yum! Next time I’m in NoVa to visit my folks, I’ll talk them into going to the Malibu Grill with me.😃

Hey, is that the one off of Bailey’s Crossroads? That’s about a half mile away from my apartment. Cool beans. Alas, I have not been there, but I’ve always been curious. I thought it was just some Chili’s ripoff. How expensive was it?

**THERE’S TWO OF THEM?!??!!?**

My lord! What a blessing! The one I’m referring to is on Fairlakes Drive (near my house), right across from Best Buy, Toys R Us, and it’s next to an Alexandre de Paris and Taco Bell.
It’s not terribly expensive, 11 dollars for lunch and 15 for dinner-but it’s all you can eat and it’s almost all tasty meat! They do have a salad bar, with the tastiest potatos known to mankind.

mmm…
**SweetLucy** -You will not be disappointed!

Malibu Grill isn’t bad (and is only about three miles away from my apartment), buit Greenfield in Rockville is much better. Cruise-ship size salad bar with fejioda, and there’s more variety in the meats.
They give you trukey wrapped with bacon, chicken hearts, three of four kinds of sausage, duck, rabbit, tenderloin, filet, top round, pork ribs, ribeye chunks, and at dinner they roll around a trolley of Flintstone-sized short ribs. We like it so much we had our rehearsal sinner there.

Check it out [here](http://www.greenfieldchurrascaria.com/rockville.htm)

Yep, there’s one on Columbia Pike too (the one closest to me).

There is a very similar restaurant in Rockville too. It is insanely delicious.

There’s a Brazilian-themed restaurant very similar to this, Tucano’s, here in Albuquerque. It’s excellent! 🙂

Is that one near the Baby’s’R’Us just north of Route & and just east of Columbia Pike?!

I went to a party there for a friend’s birthday a few years ago. The food was pretty good, but nothing too too memorable.

Also one (at least named Malibu Grill) in Bloomington, IN. Top notch but I felt the portions a bit skimpy-- maybe that’s just California Lite style cuisine, though.

John Mellencamp dines there once in awhile, FWIW.

No, no. That’s the one I was talking about. **Meatros** is talking about a different one.

I’ve been to Greenfields and Malibu Grill. I prefer Greenfield’s as they have a huge selction of food. **False God** isn’t kidding when he described the buffet as cruise ship sized. I went there with a friend for lunch one day, and we ate there for about two hours! My wife said she could smell the meat smell coming out of my pores.

Incidentally, this sort of restaurant is called a churrascaria. I don’t know why the Malibu Grill was given a name that seems to downplay the fact that it’s a Brazilian restaurant. There’s at least half a dozen of these restaurants in the D.C. area. I’ve eaten at Greenfields and at Coco Loco (in Chinatown in D.C.) and liked the food at both places, but it’s a little expensive.

You know, they make it out as though the salad bar was huge-it isn’t per se. They have a lot of items, but not a lot of salad (two or three types of dressing). I really don’t think vegitarians would like the place-I mean the are taking meat table to table, so it would be all in there face.
