I saw this on TV, and couldn’t belive it…this dope has retained a lawyer (no doubt looking for big bucks). My question: could she conceivably sue the Mall (for placing a fountain/pool) in the path of brain-dead walkers like herself? No doubt American jurisprudence will get a workout here!😕😕 ---

She works in the mall, so I assume she was aware of the fact that the mall had a fountain. One might cut her a teeny bit of slack if she had been a first-time visitor. ---

Actually, she already had a lawyer, having been charged with stealing her coworker’s credit cards and running them up to the tune of $5,000, and for a hit and run. So, long history of 'tardiness on this woman’s part. ---

When I heard about this, my guess was that she was pursuing some theory that the mall/security should not have released its security tapes in a manner that embarrassed her. I’m not an expert, but I don’t think one has any privacy right WRT security tapes made in public, nor does the mall owe her any duty WRT their use of those tapes. What a schmuck! ---

C’mon, there must be some money in this case-I hardly think her attorney is doing this “pro bono”. Relax, the mall has a big insurance policy-probably a $30,000 sttlement-with 30% for the landshark. ---

She’s an idiot, but she doesn’t care. She wants money and will do anything to get it. She’s proven she isn’t above lying and stealing to get it. Who knows what story she is willing to tell a judge to gain a settlement. This incident is already costing other people, the mall security guard believed to have released the tape has been fired. ---
