# Malware

It seems, despite several adblockers, according to Malware Bytes, this might be the origin of an infestation of the [Superfish PUP](http://news.lenovo.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=1929). My computer has it, along with Shop Glider and while it seems to be fairly simple to get rid of it, you guys might want to take a look.

(And no, I am not purchasing a membership, thankyouverymuch. So don’t even suggest it)

Not cool, guys. NOT cool.

Do you have a relatively new Lenovo computer? Isn’t Superfish related to the software Lenovo admitted to installing on their computers?

No, and I know it sounds strange. But that’s the warning I was getting from MalwareBytes, (perhaps that’s why I thought my computer was infected – it was something else, it seemed), so hey, better safe than sorry.

If I’m wrong, I’ll happily eat crow, and I sure as hell hope I am. But I’d rather say something and end up being wrong than not say something and someone’s computer getting infected, you know? (As stupid as that might sound)

Believe me, I totally understand. I just wondered if you had a Lenovo as that was the easy answer.
