# Man arrested after (attempt at) fixing tires with band-aids

He wasn’t arrested for the Band-Aids, apparently the inspiration was chemically induced. [Man tries to fix flat tires with gauze and Band-Aids. Still, while we all instinctively know this would not work, you have to admire the refusal to just accept that on faith, and the determination to engage in empirical research. The sheer industriousness is impressive.  
I think the lesson for him, and all of us, is to never leave the house without duct-tape.

Not just band-aids. He also had gauze! Catastrophe narrowly averted!

Even drug addled, the guy should have realized that one can’t fix a radial tire with bias materials. He should have used baling wire.
