This guy tried to smash the glass case around the Stone. Why? Was he trying to get to it and chip off a piece? Strike a blow against/for Scottish independence? Drunken dare? Will we ever know? That scone has got to be so dry by now that it’s hard as stone. Does it even need glass to protect it? ---

I don’t like scones, but if a restaurant had “Scone of Destiny” on the menu, I would definitely order it. ---
