What I’m wondering about, is the article says that the contractor is going to get 50% of the final sale price. Presumably, the other half is going to the dealer he’s working with? Isn’t that dealer kind of ripping him off royally? I thought the standard fee for that sort of thing was 10%. ---

Saw that myself and thought what a rip off. I wonder though, would he have to pay tax on the sale price? I’m not sure how tax works in the US on that sort of ‘windfall’?
