I think it’s cool, too, **Influential Panda**. Gaudy, yes, and kind of stupid (who wants to make a sports car _heavier_?), but cool. I tend to like goofy modifications to cars… and this is a goofy modification squared. ---

[/QUOTE] Personally, I think the texture of the gold bricks is really kinda neat–like snakeskin sorta. Wouldn’t do it myself, but Ithink it adds rather than subtracts from the appeal. ---

It would be much cooler without the brick pattern - if it was just shiny gold everywhere. Because, if they stripped it down to the bare metal (and the metal would have to be flawless) they could electroplate each piece. Probably have to nickle plate first, then gold. ---

When I was a kid, I fantasized about having an all-chrome Delorean. And when I say all-chrome, I mean it literally. Chrome tires, chrome seats, circuitry made out of chrome…I know it would be heavy and hard to drive, but it would be nice and shiny. ---
