Actually, my tongue was pretty firmly in my cheek for that one, but thanks! I don’t travel very far from home, thanks to various animals that insist they absolutely MUST be fed/watered every day, but who knows? I have to wonder if they still do signs outside hotels - Doper Convention 11/23-26 - b.c. (before Cecil), I certainly would’ve wondered about that one…probably would have lurked around hoping to get a glimpse of that storied creature called a “Doper.” ---

I believe at least some of the parties are listed under “Cecil Adams” … You know, like if the shindig is at a hotel, one might register as part of the Cecil Adams Party to get a discount rate, or something. ---

Schnapps seems to be the drink of choice - I commonly see discarded (empty) pints of schnapps (peppermint and rootbeer outrank the others, with butterscotch running a bit behind), along with scattered Bud Light cans. Of course, as I said, I’m in a very rural area, so I can’t really speak for the whole state. I’ve never even seen Fargo the city or Fargo the movie yet. (I did drive through Williston on the way here, though.) I was born in Alabama, though, so don’t be callin’ me no yankee. 🙂 ---

Hey **Typo** , when there is another Dopefest in Minny, maybe you can hook up with [Tripler](http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/84daca4a/bc/Porkapalooza+(June+2002)/Tripler+keeps+martinis+everywhere+safe.jpg?bciHr.9AxdLuC7Xa), when he’s not off blowin up or burning things, he can be found in Minot. He came down for PorkDope last June, and probably wouldn’t mind much, to have someone ride along, that is, as long as you don’t touch his martini glass. ---
