I’ve never seen either of those cartoons before, but what a strange story. I’m so curious about why this person felt the need to do that. ---

I’ve speculated about the practical advantage of robbing a bank while dressed in a gorilla suit. On the one hand, you would attract a lot of notice on your way in, and it would be hard to just mingle with the crowd on the way out. But on the other hand, the bank’s cameras would be useless in identifying you. If you had a gorilla suit that you could easily and quickly put on and take off, I can see it being an advantage. The visual is compelling, in any event. A bunch of people waiting on line for the teller, including one guy dressed in a gorilla suit. Then he pulls out a gun when he gets to the front. Somebody needs to try this. ---

If you get a bunch of people to toss a basketball around while you rob the bank in a gorilla suit then no one will see you at all. ---

Google “gorilla suit robbery” and you will see that nothing is so zany that it hasn’t been tried. And almost certainly tried in Florida specifically. ---
