I can’t listen to the video right now, but I’m assuming this is a cosmetic thing and not a functional eye, right? ---

Well, he can’t see out of it but it has blood flow and is sending some signals with the optic news. It’s a baby step, but a big baby step. ---

I read a brief article saying the man hoped to eventually be able to see with the transplanted eye. I don’t think the article quoted any doctors saying this was a realistic hope, though. ---

In the story I read, the surgeon did not expect him to have sight in the transplanted eye, but said that it was remotely possible. ---
