Why did Adam stop doing the challenges himself? ---

As soon as I saw the promo for _Man vs. Food Nation_ for the first time, my first thought was, “Ah, Adam has decided he doesn’t want to die gorging on junk food for a stupid TV show.” ---

A few seasons of that kind of abuse and I’m sure his doctor was recomending a new line of work. This way he can keep the show running and maybe live a normal lifespan. ---

I’m not really much of a fan of him as a host. The best part was always his immersion in the different competitions. Still fun knowing where some of the challenges are, but when it’s anonymous people going for it, it’s just not as interesting. ---

I like the parts of the show where he’s going around to restaurants and appreciating food. The eating challenges disgust me and I usually switch away during them. ---

Not a big fan of the new show. In MvF, you kind of knew what Adam could and couldn’t handle. The interest lay in whether he could top himself. Now it’s just some random shmuck. Who knows and who cares what this week’s non-entity can eat? There’s just no attachment for me any more.
