Well, I’m making a “voyage” (well, a drive) next week.
Johnny, you aren’t seriously considering driving straight through from L.A. to the pennisula are you? I was in San Diego one time and had an emergency at home, no flights available, so I rented a car and drove straught through. Twenty-two hours was what it took and I pushed the speed limit all the way. It can be done but it is not fun.
I’ve done it before. From Los Hideous it took about 19 hours. The secret is to leave around midnight or two ayem so it’s still light at the end of the trip. It’s easier to stay awake when it’s light. But I may decide to leave later and stop in Eugene.
