I hardly ever watch TV. But – on NBC someone just said the normal and highly likely punishment is probation. Then Trump came out and insulted the judge. I know he did that back when he was presumed innocent, but is it worse to do it between conviction and sentencing? I do not much like jail and prison, but I do not see him obeying conditions of probation. It’s incredibly rude and certainly unwise but Merchan has been the epitome of professional the whole time. I don’t see him adding to the sentence over somebody exercising their First Amendment rights. Nobody likes being convicted and I’m sure they’ve all seen their share of people grousing about judge, jury, and everybody else in the aftermath of a verdict. ---

Nothing will do that. Trump won the primaries and there are only two requirements to be president. US born and over 35 years of age. You can run from prison (which has happened…Lyndon Larouche I think). Also, the Supreme Court recently ruled a state can not take a candidate for president off their ballot. So, basically, he can’t be removed from ballots. ---
