All those dipshits donating today in their righteous anger are doing nothing buy paying down the accrued interest on Trump’s $400 million fine. Not a dime of that will help get him, or any other RNC figure, elected. Don’t forget this when you hear of “record donations” or “the websites were down!” Who gives a shit - that money isn’t going anywhere but to the State of New York and his other creditors. ---

Trump’s face was red and he was frowning as he walked out of the courtroom. Trump and his son Eric exchanged an emotional handshake as Trump departed, as Eric patted his father on the back and followed behind him with the rest of Trump’s entourage or advisors and lawyers. Steve Witkoff was the only apparent supporting guest aside from Trump’s son in attendance when the verdict was read. I’m no legal expert but the Defence were on the backfoot from early on in the trial after trying to deny Stormey Daniels’s account of their encounter. She was believable and consistent - it cannot look good for the Defence when they insist on denying something that so plainly did occur. ---

As a non-merkin, I think it’s downright inconsiderate that we get this highly & copiously toastable news at 8am on a work day. And also, on the expectations front, you (DEM) guys better win in Nov in a landslide now. If it’s too close to call or a split EC vs popular vote or worse (GOP) claim the win … that’s going to get a tad hairy. ---
