Well, its Thursday and no new emergency motions intended to delay the trial have been filed yet. It’s not quite noon, though, in eastern time zone, so there’s still hope. I expect tomorrow he’ll attempt to fire his legal counsel. Marchan won’t let his lawyers off, but there’s a non-zero chance Trump will attempt it. ---

Namely it’s an attempt to corrupt the jury pool and convince one MAGA to get through jury selection and then nullify the verdict It’s a bit “5D chess” for my liking, there may be some truth to it, but IMO the primary reason Trumps lawyers are filing all these is an unhinged Trump is screaming at them to do _something_ and they are not very good lawyers ---

The line is too long. ETA: Maybe the courts should just start filling out the sanctions/disbarment paperwork as soon as Trump hires a lawyer. It’d be a real timesaver. ---

so far the list of potential witnesses according to msnbc: prosecution: hope hicks stormy daniels karen mcdougal madelyn westerhouse michael cohen david pecker kellyanne conway defence: donald trump after mr weisselberg going to rikers for perjury, i’m sure the defence will do all they can to keep trump off the stand. ---

The more motions he files that get rejected the more he can complain the the court is baised against him. “I filed 37 motions detailing 37 separate miscarriages of justice that this sham trial represented, and each and every one was rejected by this woke judge.
