Is this going to count as a pitting? 'Cause it’s not in the Pit, after all. Of course, **Manny** is so far ahead in the Moderator Pitting Race that he probably doesn’t need this one. ---

Had this thread been in The Pit, I would offer some more direct. Having said that, the MODS here do not lie in wait for unsuspecting folks to walk by before pouncing. Many of the problems they deal with are spoon-fed to them without even lifting a finger. ---

Fine my last post was when this thread wasn’t in The Pit. Now it is. So far, you got off lucky, **Adman** , at least from the MODS for now. However, methinks you’re gonna get a whooping from some others though. Oh, yeah we’re in The Pit. The jerk is you. ---

Dude, read the FAQ before you post. Inciting flame wars between message boards is not allowed, and what you posted was not a debate - it was mostly a flame. Flames go **here**. ---

In all seriousness, Adman take the time to learn the “cultural nuances” of this particular messageboard. Here’s a free clue for you: It’s dedicated towards fighting ignorance, and has several forums geared for different aspects of this. Why don’t you read several of the threads in each forum, then decide if this is the messageboard for you. If you feel it is, then follow the rules and guidelines for posting, if not you will find yourself quickly roasted in the pit, and possibly banned too. Believe me, those who have posted to this thread have been “gentle”. They haven’t really gotten angry enough to take the gloves off yet. ---
