I only became aware of this today from reading a thread he was posting in. I understand **Skipmagic** replaced **Coldfire** and that was announced. Did I miss something? :smack: ---

Check the geological record. I think he bowed out sometime in 2003. ---

This is the drink talking: But my experience of **manhattan** was that he had some very right-wing views and maybe the board could do without a mod with strong opinions. I am often wrong about these things. ---

He lasted a lot longer as a mod than I did, and I don’t think I have a controvertial bone in my body (or if I do, it’s one of those little ones in the inner ear). Take it from me: The job is exhausting, and expands to fill every available minute. Plus, for most of his time as a moderator, he was the only guy on duty in GQ. We have what, four now? I can’t blame him for retiring. ---
