Yep, you’re wrong. No one on staff ever gave me crap about my political opinions. I just got too busy to keep up with the forum to the extent I thought it deserved and retired. It was in August of 2003. [Here’s the relevant thread.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=205809)
