Yes, this is actually about football. He seemed to be handling the other stuff well, and scouts/execs were impressed by that.

Then he went and laid an egg at the combine.

GMs will forgive off the field peccadillos, but they can’t overlook on-the-field weaknesses. If this is the fastest he can run, there’s no way he can be a 1st rounder, or even an every-down linebacker.
