# Mapping script? Help please

I have been looking for something like this for a long time, and I may have even asked here before… but it’s been a while and stuff is always being developed… anyway what I want is something that I can run on fathom that lets people plot themselves on a map, which then updates the graphic to show where they are.

I have [something cheesy](http://www.24fun.com/cgi-bin/gmapview.pl?owneremail=opalcat@fathom.org&gmap=world&mapstyle=style1&urlsite=http://opalcat.com&welcomemessage=World%20Domination%20Starts%20Here!%20Please%20add%20yourself!) on my site that does this, but I want something A) not remotely hosted and B) bigger and C) entries don’t expire

So… does anyone know of such a thing? It can be Perl, PHP, Tcl, whatever. I have Image Magick and can get any other modules required to build the images on the fly.
