Also, the State of Vermont has many old roads, which haven’t been used for decades. Recently, the state government has ruled that the towns have to either declare those roads, or they will no longer be recognized.

Referring to the earlier hijack – there’s an OP that pops up every so often that shares the realization that every city claims to be in the top ten WWIII target lists. Not denigrating the neuroses associated with growing up inside the Beltway, but the thread came around again recently and you might enjoy reading it.
