They get around that now by assigning the top four teams to regions and then announcing which regions will meet each other; it is always #1 vs. #4, and #2 vs. #3. ---

Woo Pig Sooie! Arkansas is playing in the Elite Eight.😁🐖 Gonzaga played well and I was fully prepared for the Razorbacks season to end. I’m Thrilled for these kids. They struggled at the beginning of the season. Musselman had a rotor cuff injury in Dec and surgery in Jan. He had to coach through the injury. Tough season. I was just about to post about this. Pretty stunning outcome given that Gonzaga was the overall one seed in the tournament. Mark Few has done incredible things there and a lot of folks thought this would be the year he brought them to the promised land, but alas. . . ---

The other Top seeds have to be relieved that Gonzaga is out. It’ll be very interesting to see the Final Four. I’m watching Texas Tech v Duke. Good game. Could go either way. ---

Texas Tech v Duke is a battle. Duke tied it up with 10min left. 51-51 It would be great for Coach K to make the Elite 8 one last time. Anything can happen. It’s been a fun night of basketball. I hope Friday games are as competitive. ---

Congrats to Duke. It’s fun seeing Coach K get so excited at 75. Arkansas will have its hands full playing Duke Sat. Should be a very competitive battle. Two young teams that are gaining momentum and confidence at the right time. I completely agree. Texas Tech brought it 100%. Great effort. Either team could have won. ---

UNC dominated in the last two minutes to beat UCLA. The East final will feature a 8 seed vs a 15 seed. Kansas played just good enough to beat Providence. The teams combined to shoot 6-38 3-pointers. It wasn’t pretty. ---

And now with Miami’s win, the ACC will have 3 in the Elite 8. The other 5 slots have teams from the SEC, Big 12, MAAC, Big East, and American. It’s possible that the ACC will have 3 teams in the Final Four. ---

Kansas is the only number 1 seed left. My bracket was a bad joke this year. Lot of surprises in the Elite 8. Should be a entertaining weekend of basketball. And man, if things play out and Duke and Carolina end up facing each other in the Final Four in Coach K’s last tournament . . . ---

Coach K’s 45 years of experience makes the difference. He out coached Mussleman. Duke didn’t allow Ark to play like they did against Gonzaga. I’m a Ark fan. I also have enjoyed Duke’s team for my entire life. I’m glad to see Coach K make the Final Four one last time. He’s accomplished so much. Three Olympic Gold medal teams. 13 Final Fours, 5 National championships. Who knows it could be 6 National Titles. 😉 ---
