# March Madness Haggle - anybody interested? (SIGNUPS)

Yes, it’s time for everybody’s favorite Straight dope trading game I think, since it’s been nearly a year since the last one.
Take a look at previous threads for general idea of the rules, and how the game is played. I’ll post an official rule recap after getting a feel for the response.

Don’t have any specifics of the ruleset for this one yet, 😃 But I think that it’s going to be something with a lot fewer distinct trade counters than before, 6-8 instead of 15-30, and some tricky fakeout rules, like rule 12 cancelling out rule 7. I think I may also specify that alliances or teamups between characters will not be officially sanctioned unless you can build them out of more traditional trades.

Oh, so you admit that I was right about the entire your silver does not equal my copper deal ? :eek: 😃
I would perfer if this time we dont have the entire “become a geologist” sub-quest, as it were.
((No gemstones and no third party website to compare them to, 150% more confusion than is needed in this 1000% confusing game.))
I suggest that everyone, Chris, Vetrans, and Newcomers to this incredibly fun brain melting game read past games. Hopefully we wont have to re invent too many wheels.

The catch 22 is, we need new players in order to play. --yet the only people that want to play, are the old players.
