REGION 1 Puff Daddy Easy choice. Coolio was just a one hit wonder, and it was a good hit. Sean Combs is actively irritating. REGION 2 Meatloaf Note; it’s styled “Meat Loaf.” This was a hard choice because the brothers Gallagher are such towering ass hats, while Meat Loaf himself is by all accounts a reasonably decent human being who tried his best, despite his celebrity, to be a productive member of society. However, the fact is Oasis has some good songs, whereas I find every Meat Loaf song absolutely soul-flaying. Every song he has ever done just drives me crazy. I do not for the life of me understand why people like his music. REGION 3 LL Cool J I am vaguely surprised LL Cool J is on this list at all, but Janet Jackson is a much more accomplished act and I’m floored she’s on the list, period. REGION 4 98 Degrees I’m not a Mariah Carey fan but she has some good tunes. 98 Degrees isn’t a good choice either because they’re just another boy band, but I had to pick someone. ---

Coolio Oasis Janet Mariah I’m not saying Meatloaf isn’t cringe-inducing, just that I don’t identify him as much with the '90’s as the '70’s. ---
