Sleep in all the way to 5:15 (since the clocks changed, which also means I’m going to be late to work since sunrise is basically an hour later) & drive out there. Conditions are absolutely _perfect_, including the bonus of high dew point which means light mist over the lake. They do official counts/estimates twice a week. It ended up being less than 1% of three days earlier.
