Here are the Brady’s singing “[Sunshine Day](https://youtu.be/NaCCG7QkM_c?t=62).” What is Marcia wearing? They look like shorts to me, but some of the comments say skirt. Anyone from the 70s remember? ---

Some people weren’t looking closely. Those are shorts. Poofy-legged shorts, but shorts. ---

IMO it hangs like a skirt, I think it’s just a skirt with a little pleat in the middle that makes it look like shorts. Shorts would be a bit tighter on her body instead of flared out in a skirt shape. Edit: after seeing her turn sideways a little at the end I’m even more sure it’s a skirt, you can see a pleat pattern all around. ---

It looks like a skirt with one pleat. ---

It looks like a skirt with a pleat in the front to me. Look closely at the fabric and her legs as she moves. Try not to think about the fact that you are unabashedly staring at Marsha Brady’s crotch. ---

Definitely culottes: a short skirt that has two separate legs. That sort of style was popular in the time the show was on the air. Nowadays, culottes tend to have long legs, but back in the early 70s, they were the length of a short skirt. They were banned in my high school as being against the dress code. ---

Somewhere between loose shorts and culottes. Oddly, when I Googled culottes I see a bunch of stuff that is calf-length. Nope, those aren’t culottes folks. ---

How quickly we forget! ☹ They were called **flirt skirts**. A cross between shorts and a skirt. They were quite the thing back in the '70s. ---

I’d forgotten how bad the Brady’s sang. That’s rough. I watched the show regularly because of Marcia. I must of been deaf back then. I think she’s wearing a skort. They were popular at my high school. The girls didn’t have to worry about sitting down or having any embarrassing exposure. Cheerleader outfits had a similar design. They can do cartwheels and other gymnastics without embarrassment. ---
