Well, simplistically, looking from the ocean to land on the west coast you’d be facing east, though in reality there are many different directions from which to see downtown Vancouver from the water. [This one](http://cache1.asset-cache.net/gc/126347007-the-vancouver-skyline-at-dawn-from-coal-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=RAlwpb9RfX5bxOicmqgIz5BW%2F21OD59QRi%2FyUbtaJiTrCNvHpW9osZ80sfzLCeCS) suggests that Rubio’s opening scene really was shot at dawn. He got that part right. Too bad it’s not the US! ---

Yeah, but you can see it from the US. On a clear day. If you stand on something tall. Like Palin’s shoes. Or maybe he’s getting ready to announce his next bold and innovative policy initiative: annexing southern Canada. If walling out the brown people down south sells to the base, think how much better they’ll like sucking in a few million white folks from the Great North. They even speak recognizable English as long as we skip Quebec. The French wannabe sissies. ---

You guys aren’t giving Rubio enough credit. The subtext is clearly that the US has lost its way under Obama, and to restore it to its former glory, the US needs to be governed more like Canada. ---

When he’s president of the United States, we are going to re-embrace all the things that made America the greatest nation in the world and we are going to leave our children with what they deserve: Canschluss. ---

Presumably Nikki Haley is about to endorse Rubio. Though she’ll probably preface it by saying “It’s a beautiful day in South Carolina”. ---

Rubio looks to have recovered, mainly due to the inability of other candidates to take advantage plus their own faults. Since Rubio’s bad debate, only Kasich has really improved his standing. Bush has actually gone backwards, as has Cruz. ---
