# Marian & Ray

I try to hear Marian McPartland’s _Piano Jazz_ on the radio as often as I can, but it’s on at an hour in our area where I usually tend to forget it’s on until it’s too late.

The last few times I checked their website the shows weren’t archived, but today I have been listening to several new ones that are.

For people who never heard Ray Charles doing straight-ahead piano work, spend an hour listening at [this site.](http://www.npr.org/programs/pianojazz/previousguests/spring2007/charles.html)

There are some other good shows available, too. Michel Camilo is also very good.
