So the knife that cut out the tumor was…what? A coincidence? If marijuana is such a great cure, why bother with the surgery? Anyone interested in my data on how being an SDMB member causes diabetes? ---

I just reread the OP and noticed he said he’d been smoking marijuana for about 40 years before his diagnosis. So we can use the same reasoning the OP uses to conclude that marijuana caused his cancer. ---

I think the point is ; open discussion of the value of pot and should we be able to examine the many aspects of it. Like if legalization makes open debate more likely. And if you had an addiction problem would law enforcement label you a criminal? While if legal , you could first admit a problem and get help. Prohibition has never made matters better. ---
