So the Marine Corps Marathon is this weekend in DC.

As I recall, our very own **Scylla** has been training for this very event.

To those of you taking the challenge this weekend, best of luck! Kick some butt out there this weekend!

There’s a matharon this weekend? _looks blank_ Geeze, goes to show what being good and doing homework does: it makes you lose track of the more important things in life.

Hey: anyone know if it’s going to be televised? (And if there’s anyone I should cheer on if I seem 'em on the telly?)

A quick check of [http://www.marinemarathon.com](http://www.marinemarathon.com) doesn’t have any info on whether or not the race will be televised.

But since I’m not in the DC area, I have no idea if local news will cover it. (although in San Diego when there’s a marathon, you get a tiny bit of coverage, so I’d bet there’s something)

In other words, “check your local listings”…
