Have there been any reports on the current location and activities of the Marines? ---

Last I heard, they are training at the Naval Weapons Base in Seal Beach. These are infantry trained for urban warfare; not MPs. ---

Then ‘deployment’ is still a possible future event. From what I see on TV they’ll need a reservation to get a place to stand. ---

Good point. They could operate out of the military base. Very bad optics - the military might not like that. ---

I’ve been to Seal Beach several times. There’s a railroad spur that’s used to bring the munitions in. Trains can take the troops and their supplies anywhere in the metro area. ---

I’m sure those troops will love sitting in the Rialto Rail Yard for days on end while UP sidelines them. Make sure to stencil “DO NOT HUMP!” on the containers ensuring that railyard employees take special care to run them over the hump line repeatedly for everyones’ amusement. Or put them on Amtrak so they can be repeatedly sidelined in the middle of Arizona. Stranger ---
